Side Seated Wide Angle Strech - Tailored Side Seated Wide Angle Pose (Tailored Parsva Upavistha Konasana)

Side Seated Wide Angle Strech is a tailored or updated version or technique of Side Seated Wide Angle Pose (Parsva Upavistha Konasana) which itself is an advance pose of Upavistha Konasana.


In this technique, a twisting, forward bend stretch performed seated with the wide opening of the legs and hips.


First sit in Upavistha Konasana with the back straight and then go into a twist, keeping the back straight and turning from the abdomen from the navel level. Here the torso folds in a side bend towards the extended leg. For both the sides, one by one repetition is done. This is a self streching exercise.
